I love these cute little guys! The bottom 2 cards are fancy fold cards (well they are for me!!). The border that goes down the right side is the right edge of the card so its like an off centre gatefold card(if you know what I mean!!). It was my aunts birthday yesterday so I made this card for her, I can't seem to get enough of this image can I!!! I had a lovely surprise today, an unexpected parcel arrived and when I opened it I found the loveliest little atc box that Hels had decorated especially for my birthday - and that wasn't all - lurking inside were 2 gorgeous atcs. A new challenge was started this week by the lovely Hels called `in my pocket' (see here for more info).Well as I've not done any crafting for about 3 weeks I really wanted to have a go at this! Well we had a fantastic 2 weeks in Egypt, even if it was extremely hot - I'm talking between 40 and 45 degrees every day - phew! I have recently joined a domino swap on Craft Swap Forum where we have to alter a domino! First challenge was finding some white ones but I was chatting to the landlady of my local pub (The Pickwick) and she gave me a whole set of white ones for nothing - how lucky am I! Well yet again I've left it to the last minute to make this week's My Time to Craft challenge which was to make something pink! I made this birthday card, I covered a blank card with some lovely pink paper and then stamped a flower image which I coloured in with a mixture of stardust pens and watercolour pencils. Well this is the first time I have tried the My Time to Craft challege which this week is flowers - I'm cutting it a bit fine though as the new challenge starts tomorrow!! Well I eventually finished my mums card in time - thank goodness! I made a little book which I decorated up with various bits and bobs, I wrote the message on the tag which is inside the back cover. I also put an advert in the local paper so hopefully when she gets back tomorrow she'll be pleased and not too embarrassed!

I really enjoyed this months Hels Angels swap theme which was Paper Artsy. I used various distress inks, daubers and glossy accents to get the effects, some went a bit wrong but I liked the way they turned out anyway so that was fortunate :)

I made 3 atcs for this months rubber stamped challenge which was `love and romance'. Well I really enjoyed making this one! I used some new PaperArtsy stamps that I won on Ebay, stamped them onto some fancy paper and then found a little heart stamp which I stamped using red ink.
